Reduced anxiety and depressive symptoms
Increased empathy
Have you tried other social skills groups and found that they…
Were too unstructured and lacked any evidence of efficacy?
Didn’t incorporate family participation and therefore, there was no carryover of skills?
Were not teaching ecologically valid skills that socially successful teens and young adults actually use in the real world?
Relied too heavily on an applied behavioral analysis (ABA) approach?
Operated via Telehealth and lacked the important dynamics of in-person interactions?
feels “childish” and geared towards younger kids?

“Dr. Chu and her team have put together an amazing program. Our son is finishing up a program with them and it has been a hugely positive experience for him and our family. I think the success is due to the high-quality research behind the program and the time, effort, and dedication that Dr. Chu and her team put into it…Would highly recommend this program for any children and adolescents who need social skills training.”

“Dr. Chu's outstanding communication, not just with the participants but with us parents AND with our children's therapists/life coaches etc., was key to our son's ability to practice the skills, do the homework between sessions, and have everyone involved in supporting him on the same page.”
