Boston PEERS® supports teens and young adults:
Who want to make friends, but have trouble connecting with others
Who are struggling with social interactions and feel awkward or anxious
Who are motivated to improve their social skills to make friends and maintain friendships
Research indicates that participation in Teen and Young Adult PEERS® programs results in:
Improved knowledge of social skills
Increase in frequency of get-togethers
Significantly better quality of friendships
Reduced anxiety and depressive symptoms
Increased empathy
Have you tried other social skills groups for your teen/young adult and found that they…
Were too unstructured and lacked any evidence of efficacy?
Didn’t incorporate family participation and therefore, you couldn’t help your child work on skills taught in group?
Were not teaching ecologically valid social skills that can be generalized in the real world?
Relied too heavily on an applied behavioral analysis (ABA) approach?
Operated via Telehealth and lacked the important dynamics of in-person interactions?
Learn more about Boston PEERS®, where neurodiverse learning and thinking is celebrated, as participants along with their families make a choice to enhance their social interactions by learning specific skills shown to result in successful relationships.

“Dr. Chu and her team have put together an amazing program. Our son is finishing up a program with them and it has been a hugely positive experience for him and our family. I think the success is due to the high-quality research behind the program and the time, effort, and dedication that Dr. Chu and her team put into it…Would highly recommend this program for any children and adolescents who need social skills training.”
